Another reason to enjoy DC

Buddha Bar restaurants now serve also in DC.

I have no idea how good their food is but I can tell that they are really good at picking music.

Actually they got their fame by the lounge, chill-out type music they play. The first restaurant was in Paris I believe and once people start asking about the songs they play, they decided to produce and sell albums. They don't make their own music but play good music from different musicians. In some first albums the tracks would be grouped into 2 CDs by "Dinner" and "Drink" concepts. The first two albums are created by the owner of the restaurant and the rest is done by some other DJs, as far as I know.

I don't know the exact number but as of today they have released more than 10 albums I believe.

By going to the website you can listen some lounge music while browsing their menus.
According to first reviews that restaurant is not as good as other Buddha Bar restaurants but perhaps we gotta give some time.
